WELCOME TO PAPA JOHNNY'S OZARKS BARBEQUE SAUCE, LLC
The spicy kick of the sauce was just right for most but some wanted something milder so he adjusted the mix to get his "Sweet and Mild" sauce which had the same great flavor as the "Sweet and Spicy" without the kick. People of all ages from small children to the elderly love the sauce.
As the demand for more sauce increased John knew he needed a label that would complement the sauce so he had Revel Advertising design a label for which they received an award. With the design of a label, Papa Johnny's Ozarks Barbeque Sauce was born. The name "Papa Johnny" came from two of John's grandkids who call him by that name. The owners of Revel, Chris and Nicole Jarrett, had tried the sauce and thought it needed to be hotter. A few other individuals had the same thoughts so John set out to create his "Sweet and Hot" sauce which really gets the juices flowing. It's a good idea to have something cool to drink on hand to quench the flames unless you are accustomed to the heat.
With three great sauces, John put together gift packs for family and friends for the holidays which they sent to their families and friends in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, and Utah. Revel asked for sauce in lieu of payment and they also gave gift packs to their families, friends, and customers.
